Dark Data shares a DNA with GoldenEye, the Nintendo 64 classic, being similarly focused on immersive and persistent online gameplay. Dark Data takes the tech of GoldenEye and applies it to the FPS genre. It is played on a dark and highly-detailed retro canvas with an asymmetric deathmatch format and careful attention to detail. Only in the last few months, we have applied this brutal artistic vision to the Steam platform. Dark Data and AEDatRIA have worked together to release the game on Steam.

This is a very early alpha build for the game. It was the first of many that were made. The ideas of what to do with Dark Data may have changed since then but we still like to play it. Please be patient with us when downloading this build, it’s not optimized and there will be more errors in the future. If you do run into any bugs, don’t hesitate to report them. We’ve got better things to do then fixing them at the moment…

The best way to play Dark Data full-screen would be to play with a gamepad. If you have a game controller without vibration, you can use that. Try it. it’s awesome.

There are three or four of us in the group and we just played it for ~1.5 hours. We have only just started playing âKrautscapeâ, which was the original inspiration for this remake.
There are some bugs as there is no feedback on what went wrong and I was unable to play online as the game crashed after a few deaths in the game.
Did you play any other similar games to Bomberman?
I’ve played 3d Bomberman, Temple Run and The Game Minus (2015). The game is very good, it has a very minimal plot and extremely fun. Some multiplayer games also exists, but the community isnât as big as that in Bomberman games (Krautscape) and things get a bit messy for the sake of that. Personally I love Bomberman more then anything else in gaming. The game is still in Beta, so there is potential to grow even more. The Developer/Coders could add many things, but they are focusing on something else now.

Several improvements have been made to The Yeomanâs request system since our January 8th release, and the team is hard at work on updating our backend store, which will in turn allow us to make updates to our bug-reporting system, our reputation system, and our capabilities to generate dynamic product pages.
Weâre also exploring ways to improve our various suite of tools for players to request backgrounds, adventures, and scenarios that will also help to improve both the design of the campaign as a whole, and give players more tools and experiences without having to resort to creating their own macros.
Bug Reports
Our bug reporting system is almost complete! Thereâs just a few more things we need to do â one of which is to actually allow users to report issues, instead of just have the automated reports once again crash when theyâre finally tested and put into action â but from what I can tell, it seems to be working correctly for the most part. For those of you who have never used it before, let me walk you through how it works.
When you get on the site and log in, youâll be instructed to download and install a plugin, and when you do so, youâll get started into the back-end of the site.
This is where you will first need to report the bug youâre experiencing, which is unfortunately a bit of a pain. In order for the bug to show up on their platform, they have to call you, and of course, we have no idea why they call you, so it could mean anything from them offering to get in touch with you about a bug someone else reported, to the foundation reaching out to them and they giving you the info you need, to them being requested a âverification urlâ (yes, thatâs what they call it) to confirm it was reported.
If the issue shows up, youâll be able to see it, and send it to us and a few other potential developers who might be able to help, and if you happen to be one of the chosen few, youâll be sent an email with the information you need.
