I have a table that has a set of’steps’ and data like step_id, step_name, step_value, in_step, out_step, in_step_date, out_step_date. I would like to find the largest gaps between in-step and out-step dates. I have been using this query:

I am trying to convert str1 to int and for that am converting to unicode and then converting it to int. While conversion to unicode is taking much time, and then after conversion of unicode to int and conversion of int to str2, I got a strange behaviour.
