I have reviewed a variety of Photoshop CC files from Adobe over the past six months. The files on that page are all CC Catalog files. Just installed 5.2RC and it is definitly a faster app. 3-4 sec activation was amazing. No slow downs anymore.
Now, with the Activation issues with all the white flashes when scanning money, I am not sure if I’ll be using this app much longer.
Ok, after 6 weeks, I have to say that I AM NOT that impressed with the “,collab, ” experience as with LR3, it was going to happen when releasing Photosh-/ad after upgrading to CS3.5. Maybe it’s because I am not a PS pro user (just used Elements every now and then).
So far in my testing I see just ONE app for the photoshop functions, Elements, under the “/Adobe / CS 6” (Adobe teaser). It appears that the “Photoshop” functions are just there to use with Elements or One-Click, regardless of what you do with the rest of the apps in Photoshop / Lightroom. The workflow is not about to change – sales well be in Las Vegas.
I do like that it takes less time than lightroom to open a.psd file. Being able to put my old.psd files into a library is a biggie for me. But, as stated above, the CS6 “Photoshop” functions are just skin deep.
This release is about the video editing and the product shot functions. The video editing/merging is just slightly faster. That’s it.
The 2.35 sped up video however, is the only feature to close the gap with Lightroom. Still not enough for me. I will stick with LR5.
My review, looks like I will not be a CS6 user. Too bad, I do use some of the new features, but I fear it will be replaced as soon as CS6.0.0 is pushed.
So, anyone wiped out yet like me?
