Well, for this, I used the shrinkwrap version of the installer on the iso, which does kind of a \”doesn’t work with that hardware\” bug. The alternative was to patch the ISO so that it’s a \”don’t run unless you have this driver/hardware\” bug. The latter was simpler, except it broke a bunch of the features like Steam offline play. And patching is kind of a mess, so I ended up using the shrinkwrap, which I haven’t done in quite a while.
The first thing to get was to make a fairly simple ring of sentry drones, but Tails didn’t have much experience yet and I couldn’t give him any hints because it would be unprofessional. So I said \”pretend you’re a larva for a moment and don’t look in your manual, show me the most important things to know.\” And all he saw were the four different direction buttons, the pedals, the lighthousing with a menu, the gas gauge, the radar with a menu, the voltmeters, and the different points of gear. So I told him to \”pull a switch\” and he started running…
And he started running for his life! I could see his little white and green shape in my rearview mirror, and he was getting pretty far ahead of me. I hit the gas and started rocketing after him, and he was running at top speed! And I started to make up ground. He was making a turn, and I thought he was trying to find his way back, but then he turned back into the opposite direction and I lost track of him. Then I saw a green flash in my peripheral, and he had just turned into an opening in the trees on the other side of the road. I slammed on the brakes and started shooting, hoping I might have hit him. I don’t know, I was running so fast. But there was no blood.
