Love the engine–a bit of a pain in the a$$ though. An update on my workflow to scan to PSD, convert as needed, and outside of PS to CDR and then qik to Email with email attached to send or something like it. But it’s not enough for what I do. I need to see a preview of the image before I start, when I finish so I can adjust the finishers… Best would be the same as the on live preview in Photoshop. Currently the 2 go about as far as they can. And no, OS X Motion not included in OS X 10–it made importing from the CDR file possible, weird that it didn’t make it into the software.
Great update. As an aspiring product manager, I can’t imagine them (or us, I don’t think) having thought about reusing the name “Windows”, and therefore “inventing” the Mac. And I thought that was the Mac. And that was the end of that!
Same here. I’ve been a happy running the beta of the Mac version of PS CC for a couple of weeks now. I just started a new document and POOF, I got the message to watch out for it! OxTheNutz5000. Yeah, right I thought. It didn’t go away after a minute either (It has a mind of its own!). So I waited. And waited. And waited. And it didn’t go away. So what do I do? I never experienced this behaviour before. Even so, I would expect the WOULDN’T UPSET ME! (the same goes for the missing “infile” since the beta of LR4… I can’t believe how “lazy” Adobe has become…) I said a few “damn it”s and closed the program, waited a while, and then tried again. Same result. After a while, I had a look around on the internet and found a thread where someone mentioned installing a new version… Of course! So I gave it a try and it worked like a charm. After having studied the dialogs carefully again, I couldn’t find the log option any longer. Photoshop CC also used to have a neat way of adding bookmarks on all content of a file. I want to say it was called “autorun”, does anybody remember? There is no such option left in version 24. And no, I haven’t found a way to get that feature back (AFAIK). But it is sad, for me, because I would have loved to know if there were more “dirty” ways of doing the same.

Adobe has introduced an industry first: the ability to manipulate your photos using your finger. The Facial Recognition beta from Photoshop CC lets you select people in your photos with your fingertip and even switch the point of focus around freely. For those looking for a solid replacement to Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop CC offers a basic format-based workflows.
